Cannot login with newly created Character

Is Server still up? I created a Character but when I login, I get as far as selecting my Character, it appears to connect OK but then I am stuck on a black screen with "Downloading" in the bottom right corner. It then eventually times out with error 3001.

yes it up just got to keep trying we get that alot u will get in we been working on it
